La Mousse THCA Dry Sift Hash — Forbidden Fruit
Ultra-refined dry sift THCA hash with a distinctive mousse-like texture. Deep cherry, tropical citrus, and dark fruit terpenes from Forbidden Fruit. 1 gram — from YUMZ Lab.
What Is La Mousse Dry Sift Hash?
La Mousse is a refined dry sift hash format named for its distinctive texture — “La Mousse” is French for foam or mousse, describing the unusually light, airy, almost whipped consistency that sets this format apart from standard pressed hash. It is produced through an especially fine dry sieving process that collects only the purest trichome heads with minimal plant material contamination — the result is a trichome fraction so refined that it resists compression into a firm block and instead holds a soft, mousse-like form.
YUMZ Lab’s La Mousse THCA Dry Sift Hash in Forbidden Fruit brings this refined format together with one of the most layered terpene profiles in the hemp market. Forbidden Fruit — a cross of Cherry Pie and Tangie — delivers dark cherry and berry on top of tropical citrus and mango, producing a complex, multi-stage flavor that expresses with particular clarity in the clean La Mousse format. Full spectrum, COA verified, 1 gram.
Forbidden Fruit — Strain Profile
Forbidden Fruit is a Cherry Pie × Tangie cross — two parent strains that each bring a distinct and recognizable terpene character. Cherry Pie contributes dark cherry, berry, and a sweet earthiness. Tangie brings tropical citrus, mango, and a bright, almost candy-like top note. Together they produce a terpene profile that is layered, complex, and distinctly fruit-forward without being one-dimensional.
Key terpenes in Forbidden Fruit: myrcene (earthy tropical base), limonene (citrus brightness from the Tangie side), caryophyllene (spicy depth), linalool (light floral bridge). In the La Mousse format — where the trichome fraction is at its most refined and the plant material background is minimal — the Forbidden Fruit terpene profile comes through with uncommon clarity. Dark cherry on the inhale. Tropical citrus on the exhale. A clean, sweet finish.
La Mousse vs. Other Dry Sift Formats
Standard dry sift hash — including Moroccan Ketama and 00 grades — uses progressively finer screens to produce increasingly refined trichome fractions. La Mousse represents a further refinement beyond even the 00 grade: the sieving process and post-processing technique are controlled specifically to preserve the trichome fraction in its loosest, most intact form rather than compressing it into a block.
The practical differences are texture and versatility. Standard pressed hash holds a firm, workable shape. La Mousse has a soft, mousse-like consistency that integrates into rolling mixes more smoothly than any pressed format and, due to its high trichome purity, performs better in a dab rig than most traditional hash grades. It bridges the gap between traditional hash formats and modern refined concentrates — approachable for traditional hash users, capable enough for concentrate heads.

How to Use La Mousse THCA Dry Sift Hash
Method 1: Joint
La Mousse has a soft, almost loose texture that integrates into rolling mixes more easily than any pressed hash format — no warming needed. Spoon or scoop small amounts directly into your rolling blend and distribute evenly. It burns consistently throughout the joint and the Forbidden Fruit terpene profile carries clearly in every draw.
Method 2: Bowl
Pack a bowl with hemp flower and spoon a small amount of La Mousse on top. It settles into the flower naturally without needing to be broken or crumbled. Light at the edge at low temperature — the refined trichome fraction burns cleanly and produces noticeably less harshness than standard hash grades.
Method 3: Low-Temp Dab
Collect a small amount using a scoop-tipped dab tool and apply to a banger preheated to 450–500°F. Cap immediately with a directional carb cap. The mousse texture and high trichome purity make La Mousse one of the more capable traditional hash formats in a dab rig — significantly more dab-friendly than pressed Afghan or Moroccan formats.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is La Mousse hash?
La Mousse is an ultra-refined dry sift hash format with a distinctive light, airy, mousse-like texture — the result of an especially fine sieving process that collects only the purest trichome heads. The name is French for foam or mousse, describing its soft, almost whipped consistency. YUMZ Lab’s version is in Forbidden Fruit — 1 gram, COA verified, Farm Bill compliant.
What does Forbidden Fruit taste like?
Dark cherry and berry on the front end from Cherry Pie genetics, tropical citrus and mango from Tangie. Layered, complex, and distinctly fruit-forward. In the La Mousse format the Forbidden Fruit profile comes through with unusual clarity — dark fruit on the inhale, tropical citrus on the exhale, clean sweet finish.
How is La Mousse different from Moroccan 00 hash?
Both are refined dry sift formats. Moroccan 00 uses the finest standard Moroccan screens and is typically pressed into a soft block. La Mousse takes refinement further — the trichome fraction is so pure it holds a mousse-like loose form rather than compressing. La Mousse has higher trichome purity, softer texture, and greater versatility across use methods including low-temp dabbing.
Can I dab La Mousse hash?
Yes — at low temperatures (450–500°F) with a directional carb cap. The refined trichome purity makes La Mousse more capable in a dab rig than standard pressed hash. Swab the banger after each use. Joints and bowls are still the most straightforward methods.
Is this product legal?
Yes. Hemp-derived, less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight — federally compliant under the 2018 Farm Bill. Third-party COA available. State regulations vary — confirm local laws before ordering.
How do I store La Mousse hash?
Sealed airtight in a cool, dark location. The mousse texture is more delicate than pressed formats — refrigerate for storage beyond two weeks. Avoid heat and light, both of which degrade the terpene profile. Keep in the original container or an airtight glass jar.
